Cassandra - Cassandra was abducted by her noncustodial mother. She has been returned home safely.

Christopher - Christopher was abducted by his noncustodial father. They were located over a year later, thanks to a tip. His father was arrested and Christopher was returned home to his mother.

A'shia - A'shia was last known to be in the care of her father. He claimed she was abducted, but authorities believe A'shia died in his care. Her body has never been located.

Lindsay - Lindsay ran away from home with a man nearly three times her age. They were located several weeks later. He was arrested and she has now been returned to her parents.

Malcolm and Isaiah - Malcolm and Isaiah, brothers, vanished from their front yard. Their bodies were found in a nearby lake. Last I heard, police did not suspect foul play.

Lily - Lily was abducted by her noncustodial father and adult half brother and taken out of the country. They were located several years after her abduction and she has been rescued and returned to her mother.

Shaun - Shaun was abducted by his noncustodial mother during a supervised visitation. He was found safe several days later.

Ashleigh - Ashleigh was last seen by her younger sister, in her bedroom. Her body was found several days after her disappearance. No one has yet been charged with her murder.

Holly - Holly was last seen walking home from a friend's house. Her body was found several days later. A suspect is in custody.

Molly - Molly vanished from the lake where she worked as a lifeguard. Her body was not found for three years. No one has yet been charged with her murder.

"Jane" - Jane was abducted from her home by an intruder who attacked her brother and mother. He let her go several days later. She was able to lead police to her kidnapper and he is in custody. UPDATE (1/05): "Jane's" attacker has been sentenced to 100 years in prison.

Blanco - Blanco has been found safely.

Sarah and Phillip - Sarah and Phillip were last seen at a July fourth fireworks display with their father. They were never returned to their mother. Authorities located the children's father across the country and believe he killed his son and daughter. Their bodies are believed to be buried somewhere in the midwestern United States. Their father has committed suicide.

Isabella - Isabella was abducted by her noncustodial mother. She was spotted several times over the next few years. Finally, a mother and child recognized Isabella's picture from an Advo card and notified police. Five years after her kidnapping, Isabella was found safely.

Desire - Desire, who needed medical care, was abducted by her noncustodial mother. She was taken to a relative's home and the relative notified police.

Chase and Taylor - The twins were abducted by their noncustodial mother. Sometime later, she felt the children were in an unsafe situation and arranged their return. They are safely home with their father.

Shakira - Shakira vanished while walking home from a party. Her body was found a short while later. A neighbor has been charged with her murder.

Virginia - Virginia has returned home safely.

Marquis - Marquis disappeared from his home, where his mother was found murdered. His mother's boyfriend's body was found several days later. Police believe both were killed by the same person. Some time later, authorities located Marquis' body as well.

Opal - Opal was abducted from her front yard. Her body was discovered five years later. An individual had already been charged and convicted of her kidnapping.

Braeden - Braeden was forcibly abducted by his noncustodial father. He was returned safely to authorities.

Brianna, Guadalupe, and Justin - These three siblings were abducted by their noncustodial father. Authorities believed they were in Mexico, but the children were found safely in Texas.

Marilyn - Marilyn was abducted from her yard. She was located safely a few days later, in the care of a runaway teenaged girl.

Clinton and Larrison - The brothers were abducted by their noncustodial mother. They have been located in her care, but, as I last heard, have not been recovered. Officials in two separate states have issued different custody rulings, in a tug of war over two poor little boys.

Michelle and Ashley - The two sisters were abducted by their noncustodial father after he murdered their mother. They were found safely and their father has been arrested.

Tyra - Tyra disappeared while riding her scooter outside her home. Her body was discovered in a home across the street. A neighbor claims he accidentally smothered the child, while trying to make her stop crying.

Coral - Coral was discovered missing one afternoon, when her mother tried to pick her up from school. She had not been in classes all day, it turned out, but due to an incorrect form her parents were never notified. Her body was discovered several days later. Coral's stepfather has confessed to flying into a rage and beating the little girl to death.

Gabrielle - Gabrielle was abducted by her noncustodial mother. She has been returned safely.

Janelle - An Amber Alert was issued after Janelle vanished from her bedroom. She was located safely after authorities tracked down a former co-worker. Charges are pending; police are not yet sure if Janelle ran away or was abducted.

Wesley - Wesley was the subject of an Amber Alert. He has been found safely.

Carlie - Carlie's abduction was caught on video tape, leading to an Amber Alert. Authorities arrested an individual believed to be her abductor, but the suspect refused to answer any questions. However, the suspect allegedly told another inmate where Carlie's body could be located. Investigators say the young girl fought her attacker desperately, but lost the battle and died of "homicidal violence."

Dewayne - An Amber Alert was issued for nine year old Dewayne after he was "removed" from his Arkansas school by his noncustodial father. He was found safe in Michigan.

Kayla - An Amber Alert was issued for Kayla, who is mentally disabled, after a male adult acquaintance allegedly abducted her. Even though the two traveled to Mexico, authorities found Kayla safely and have arrested her abductor.

Bella - Two year old Bella's abduction from Michigan by her noncustodial father and noncustodial grandfather prompted an Amber Alert. The toddler had been in foster care. She was found safely in New York.

Jada - Twenty month old Jada was abducted by her father, who assaulted her mother and threatened to kill her. An Amber Alert was issued for this child. She was found safely.

Sierra - Five year old Sierra was abducted at gunpoint by her noncustodial mother, from her church daycare. Many other children were present when the mother pulled out a handgun. Police located Sierra and her mother inside a mobile home, but the mother refused to give up. After a several hour long standoff with the mother, authorities stormed the home and rescued the child. Six shots were fired, but Sierra was unhurt. Her mother was taken by helicopter to the hospital, where she died.

James - James disappeared with his parents from their home. Police found blood and bullet holes at the residence. Their bodies were found fifteen days after they went missing. James' father's adopted cousin is being charged with murder. James was only four years old.

Rachel - An Amber Alert was issued for fourteen year old Rachel after she went missing from her residence. She has been found safely and a suspect is being questioned.

Dominic - Police issued an Amber Alert for one-year-old Dominic after he was abducted from his residence, allegedly by his noncustodial father. Dominic and his father spent the night at a stranger's home, after their vehicle broke down. In the morning, after hearing of the Amber Alert, the father and the good Samaritan notified authorities and Dominic was recovered safely.

Brittany and Damien - The two children, ages fifteen and nine, disappeared with a 19 year old bipolar and suicidal man, prompting an Amber Alert. They have been found safely.

Anthony - South Carolina police issued an Amber Alert after finding twelve year old Anthony's backpack at his school, even though he never made it to classes that day. He was found safely, walking alone down a road. Authorities have learned that the boy was angry over what he considered an unjust punishment at school and had decided to run away. He has been returned to his family.

Anthony - A five month old Oregon baby, kidnapped by his noncustodial twenty year old mother shortly after she left a mental institution, has been found safely. Authorities issued an Amber Alert after the infant's disappearance, since his mother had threatened to kill him and he needed medical attention. After locating the baby, police have decided no charges were warranted.

Deshawn - This little boy was only nineteen months old when he was abducted from his grandmother's home by two male individuals, one of whom was presumably his noncustodial father. Florida authorities issued an Amber Alert and the toddler was found safe the next morning. The suspects were taken into custody.

Leeanna - Leeanna was abducted by an adult male acquaintance from her Texas high school, prompting an Amber Alert. She has been found safely.

Desiree - An Amber Alert was issued when two week old Desiree disappeared from her guardian's Florida residence. A neighbor had temporary custody of her, but police determined the baby was kidnapped by her eighteen year old mother. She was found safely in Tennessee.

Cecilia - On March 27, 2004, mere days before she would have turned ten, a hiker located the skeletal remains of nine year old Cecilia in the woods behind a church. The little girl had been missing since October 2003, when she vanished from her bedroom during the night. Authorities believe she was abducted. Her parents have searched desperately, even offering the kidnappers immunity if they brought Cecilia home safely. Police thought the child might have been taken for ransom and for months believed she was probably still alive, imprisoned somewhere. But now they think the child has been dead for a while. UPDATE: Police have arrested a man and charged him with Cecilia's murder.

Larry - Larry's noncustodial mother allegedly abducted him from a grocery store with the help of a friend. Authorities tracked them down and recovered Larry safely.

Celena - Authorities originally suspected this fifteen year old girl was a run away, after she vanished from a friend's home. The friend says Celena got into a car with three adult males in the wee hours of the morning. Hopes that the fifteen year old had gone missing voluntarily and would return home were soon dashed, though, when the body of a teenaged girl was located. Although the body has not yet been officially identified, police say the appearance of the body and the clothing the deceased girl wore match Celena's description. It is now believed that Celena was taken to a party and given drugs. She died of a drug overdose. Several men have been arrested in connection with her death, but no one will be charged until autopsy results return.UPDATE: The body has been identified as Celena. Several suspects have plead innocent to her killing.

Daunte - After one year old Daunte was taken from his daycare by his noncustodial father, authorities issued an Amber Alert. The abductor has been charged with assault previously and allegedly left a threatening message on the mother's cellphone. Daunte has been found safely.

Donovan - Police first learned of the trouble at Donovan's home from a phone call. The five year old's father telephoned police with a frightening admission: he allegedly claimed to have hurt his wife. When authorities reached the home, they found Donovan's mother murdered. An Amber Alert was quickly issued for the little boy, believed to be with his father. After some time, Donovan's father turned himself in and the boy was recovered safely.

Kirsten - Authorities began looking into Kirsten's family after learning that the girl hadn't been in school for a year. Her parents claimed she was living overseas, but police found no evidence of this. Kirsten's mother fled with the child after her first interview with police. Several months later, authorities tracked down the missing child at her grandmother's house. Kirsten has been recovered safely and her mother was arrested.

Dru - Dru disappeared from the mall parking lot, as she was leaving her job in November 2003. Authorities arrested a convicted sex offender, out on probation, and charged him with murder. Her body was found in April 2004, after her family searched tirelessly for five months.

Jessica - For two weeks, family members and police searched for this twelve year old after she vanished with someone she met online. She was found sitting on a hotel room bed while her companion, a man in his fifties, attempted to commit suicide. The man is expected to survive and faces charges.

Jai - Four individuals allegedly broke into three year old Jai's home and abducted her at gunpoint. Police issued an Amber Alert and were able to successfully recover the little girl.

Jessica and Kelley - An Amber Alert was issued for these two little girls, after they vanished with their mother's boyfriend. The Alert was cancelled after the boyfriend contacted police and convinced them that he was probably the children's biological father. Authorities were able to verify that the sisters are fine and have turned the matter over to child services.

Billie - Billie was found safely after an Amber Alert was issued.

Adam - In April of 2000, Adam's father abducted him to Syria. His mother searched desperately for him, but unfortunately there was no happy ending in this case. Nearly four years after being kidnapped, Adam died in a tragic accident in Damascus, Syria. Authorities say Adam's father tried to change a propane tank and it exploded, killing the boy and severely burning himself. Adam's body was brought back to the United States and buried.

Brittany - Searchers who hunted overnight for a missing five year old New York girl had a happy ending when Brittany was found safely. She disappeared while riding her bicycle to a friend's home. Brittany was found in an abandoned warehouse, bound with duct tape and hidden beneath a tarp. The child is conscious and talking coherently and expected to be physically fine. No one has yet been charged with her abduction.

Meddlisa - Before her abduction, Meddlisa was outside playing with other children in her adoptive parents' yard. The children reported that the toddler's noncustodial mother arrived and said that she had to take Meddlisa to the store. Instead, Meddlisa's biological mother allegedly kidnapped her. Authorities issued an Amber Alert due to the mother's past drug abuse. They feared she might take the child into an unsafe situation. But Meddlisa was recovered safely.

"Anne" - An Amber Alert was issued for fourteen year old "Anne," after she vanished with her adult sister's ex boyfriend. She called her family to say she wanted to come home but was unable. An unidentified individual later dropped "Anne" off at a hospital. She is now safe.

Palmira - Two weeks after the twelve year old disappeared with a nineteen year old man, Palmira has been safely located. She and her companion fled to Mexico, but tried to re-enter the United States. That's when Mexican authorities recognized them, arrested the nineteen year old, and recovered Palmira. An Amber Alert was issued for this child.

Esmeralda - Eighteen month old Esmeralda was abducted by her noncustodial mother, the same day as their final custody hearing. An Amber Alert was issued for this child, due to threats made by the abductor. But Esmeralda's mother surrendered to authorities some time later and the baby was recovered safely.

David - Originally from Guatemala, fifteen year old David's family agreed to pay human smugglers to bring the boy into the United States. When his aunt was unable to pay the agreed upon fee, though, the smugglers disappeared with David. Authorities issued an Amber Alert and recovered David safely.

Timothy, Felisha, and Sierra - A desperate search began after these three siblings vanished from their babysitter's house during the early morning hours. Authorities believed the children left voluntarily and might have traveled on a train, thus potentially getting hundreds of miles away before anyone knew they were gone. After several days, the siblings went to the home of an aunt, who contacted police and relatives. They are all safe.

Antoinette - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this fourteen year old girl, after she disappeared from school. She had left behind a note indicating that someone might be following her. Antoinette has been found safely.

Atona - An Amber Alert was issued for four year old Atona after she was allegedly abducted by her noncustodial maternal grandmother and an acquaintance. She was turned over to authorities by an unidentified male and is safe.

Joshua - Three years after Joshua vanished from his Florida home, his body has been located. Authorities believe the ten year old and his seventy seven year old grandmother were abducted and murdered by a man who had once done electrical work on their home. The alleged killer committed suicide before he could be charged with these crimes. Searchers expect to find the body of Joshua's grandmother near where he was located. UPDATE: After several months of searching, authorities have still not located Joshua's grandmother.

Jay-Quan - Ten month old Jay-Quan disappeared with his mother following a visit with the man she claimed was his father. That man is now charged with the murder of the baby and his mother. Authorities found the mother's body following a tip from a fifteen year old boy who now faces charges himself. According to police, the teenager claims Jay-Quan was also murdered and his small body put into a dumpster. The baby's body has never been located, but because there seems to be no evidence suggesting that he is alive, I have decided to add him to the located page.

Kenneth - Kenneth slipped out of his house while his father slept. Authorities seem to firmly believe that the child wandered to a nearby creek and drowned. Although I last heard that his body remained missing, I have decided to add Kenneth to the located page.

Mila and Michon - These siblings vanished on Christmas Day 1999, allegedly taken by their noncustodial father. Five years after they disappeared, Mila and Michon were discovered living in Canada with their dad. He has been arrested and Canadian authorities will hopefully return the siblings to their mother, who has custody, soon.

Tellious - Two year old Tellious was strapped into his carseat when two men, armed with guns, forced his mother from the car. They drove off with the child and later called his home, demanding a ransom. Authorities issued an Amber Alert and held a press conference, in which the mother begged for the safe return of her only child. Shortly thereafter, an anonymous phone call led police to a gas station, where the boy had been dropped off. His abductors are still out there, but at least he is safely home.

Matthew - Several months after he vanished from Maryland in the hands of his paternal grandmother, Matthew has been located safely in Florida. Unfortunately, for Matthew's maternal family, the reunion is bittersweet. About one month before her son was found, Matthew's mother, despondent over her belief that she'd never see the little boy again, committed suicide.

Jacqueline - An Amber Alert was issued for eight year old Jacqueline after she was abducted by her mother's former boyfriend. Authorities feared the man, who had a history of violent crime and had recently learned that the child's mother was dating someone new, might harm her. They vanished from Indianna but were located safely in Mexico, just below the Texas border. Authorities have arrested Jacqueline's abductor and she is currently in protective custody. Jacqueline may have a difficult time returning to America as she is not a US citizen. UPDATE: Jacqueline has been able to return to her family in the United States.

Tatiana, Samson, and Teagan - Four months after these three children were abducted by their noncustodial father, they were located in another state and recovered. A neighbor of the family while they were in hiding solved the case after noticing that the father's behavior seemed suspicious. Tatiana says she had tried to get help for her younger siblings and herself, but was unable to do so.

Israel - When authorities first began investigating the disappearance of three year old Israel, they did not believe his case warranted an Amber Alert. One was issued after three witnesses reported seeing the child lured into a woman's car. They said the woman bought ice cream for the child and then took him. Despite the Amber Alert, the search for Israel did not end happily. He was found dead inside the trunk of a car shortly after it was issued. Investigators do not know yet whether foul play was involved in Israel's death.

Andriena - An Amber Alert was issued for this pregnant teenager after she was taken against her will by her twenty year old uncle, who then fled the scene in a car he stole from her family. Some reports said that the uncle was holding the girl prisoner outside of the country, in Mexico. Several days after the kidnapping, Andriena was returned home safely.

Sabrina - After one year old Sabrina was kidnapped at gunpoint by her noncustodial father, who also assaulted her mother, authorities issued an Amber Alert. The baby disappeared from Pennsylvania but was found safely in Connecticut, where police had always believed her father would be headed. UPDATE: This case has become considerably more complicated. Authorities say that Sabrina's father actually had custody of her when the baby's mother abducted her to Pennsylvania. When Sabrina's father tried to re-abduct her, the mother called police and had the Amber Alert issued.

"Becky" - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for eleven year old "Becky" after she disappeared with a twenty three year old man. She has been found safely.

Tamera - An Amber Alert was issued for this mentally disabled teenager after security cameras from the mall where she disappeared showed the seventeen year old leaving with four men. Witnesses say Tamera appeared confused as she left and that she was holding one of the men's hand. She has been found safely.

Shania - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this little baby after her caretaker disappeared with her. She has been found safely. The caretaker says she didn't want to kidnap Shania, but lost track of time and thus didn't get the baby home as scheduled.

Sarah - Missouri authorities issued an Amber Alert after a witness saw what appeared to be a man dragging a little girl into the woods. But investigators learned that the "girl," referred to as Sarah, was actually an adult woman having an argument with an acquaintance.

Shawnte - Witnesses saw seventeen year old Shawnte and an older companion being forced into a vehicle. Shortly thereafter, the companion was found shot to death. Authorities and family members searched desperately to find the missing girl, but their efforts didn't have a happy ending. Shawnte was found murdered. Authorities have made arrests in this case.

Tatianna and Ford - These two young cousins were traveling with a family friend when they became separated, possibly intentionally, from the group. Authorities determined that the friend was wanted in five states and issued an Amber Alert. The children were located safely.

Samantha - Fifteen year old Samantha disappeared with a forty three year old convicted sex offender, with whom she had been having a relationship. Her mother faced charges, for allowing the relationship to develop. Several months later, authorities found Samantha and her companion living in an apartment complex. Relatives say Samantha says she had tried to call them several times, but her adult companion stopped her.

Ibrahim - When a sixteen year old boy arrived home from school, he found his stepfather dead and the man's grandson missing. Authorities issued an Amber Alert for toddler aged Ibrahim, who turned up abandoned in a parking lot seven and a half miles from his home. No one has been arrested for the abduction of this little boy and the killing of his grandfather.

Casey - Shortly after authorities issued an Amber Alert for the toddler, authorities found Casey safely. She had allegedly been abducted by her father. Police were worried because Casey has a heart condition that requires medication, but her father says he brought the medicine along.

Christopher - When this autistic little boy disappeared from his home, authorities issued an Amber Alert. Unfortunately, they were unable to safely recover Christopher. His body was found in a neighbor's swimming pool.

Chase, Spencer, Forrest, Jesse, and Madeleine - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for these five children after learning that their mother had allegedly threatened to kill them instead of turning them over to their father. The children's father had just received custody. Days after the five kids went missing, they were found safely and their mother was arrested.

Sheena - In 2002, Sheena disappeared, allegedly abducted by her noncustodial mother. In 2004, authorities located Sheena and her mother in the Bahamas. So far, she has not been returned to the United States.

Rafique - Five year old Rafique vanished from his South African neighborhood. He had been playing next door and authorities believe an unknown man led him away. The abductor may have been involved in an assault against the child's father days before the kidnapping. Despite a desperate search, Rafique was found murdered. He had been beaten, but the cause of death is not yet known. So far, the killer has not been found. UPDATE: Authorities are now looking for Rafique's mother and older brother. The mother feared that her other son would be harmed and may have gone into hiding in an attempt to protect him. Rafique's father says he is no longer married to his sons' mother and does not know where they are. UPDATE (12/04): Authorities now believe Rafique's death may have been an accident and say they have a suspect.

Zuleyma - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this thirteen year old girl who allegedly disappeared with an adult family friend. She was found safely.

Treona - Little Treona was allegedly taken by her great grandmother and an acquaintance. She has been found safely after the suspects turned themselves in.

Jessica and Julie - An Amber Alert was issued for these two girls after they disappeared. They have been found safely.

"Chrissy" - When Chrissy and her stepfather first disappeared, investigators assumed they were dealing with a custody dispute. They soon learned that the matter was much more sinister. An Amber Alert was issued once authorities realized that Chrissy's stepfather was interested in the preteen sexually. Over a week later, he called Chrissy's mother and revealed his location. When police arrived, the stepfather shot himself in the head in front of the young girl. Chrissy was safely recovered. Now, authorities are trying to sort out who should have custody of her.

"Dana" - Immedately after learning that the man they hired to do yardwork was a registered sex offender, Dana's parents ordered him away from their property. However, authorities believe the man had already developed a relationship with young Dana. He allegedly returned to the home and lured Dana away. An Amber Alert was issued and Dana was found safely days later, in another state.

Tanner - This young autistic boy was allegedly abducted from his home, prompting an Amber Alert. He has been safely located.

Precious - Two years ago, this infant was abducted by her noncustodial parents when they were allowed to visit her at a foster home. Authorities have finally found the little girl and she is safe.

Huang Na - Eight year old Huang Na vanished from a fruit stand in Singapore just moments after she telephoned her mother. Authorities quickly suspected a family acquiantance who fled after being questioned. Days later, he turned himself in after consulting with his family. Shortly thereafter, Huang Na's body was found in a box that had been dumped in a wooden area.

Jaylin - Three year old Jaylin was left in the care of his grandmother's boyfriend after his grandmother, who was babysitting him, went to get her hair done. When she returned, she learned that her boyfriend had disappeared with the toddler. Authorities issued an Amber Alert, believing the boy in danger. An alert citizen spotted the boyfriend's vehicle shortly after the Alert was issued and notified police. Jaylin was safely recovered.

Ella - Shortly after a judge decided that the state should have temporary custody of Ella, the little girl's mother disappeared with her. Authorities issued an Amber Alert because they feared for the child's safety; Ella's three month old brother died suddenly recently and investigators are trying to determine if he was murdered. Days after Ella went missing, she was found safely and her mother has been arrested.

Summer, Garrett, and Sydney - An entire Texas town was horrified this summer when a seemingly ordinary citizen allegedly turned into a bank robber and a kidnapper. Summer, Garrett, and Sydney disappeared with their father, who was charged with illegally taking millions from the bank where he worked before fleeing with the kids. For months, the children's whereabouts were unknown. Then, an observant Idaho man recognized the children and notified the authorities. Summer, Garrett, and Sydney are now safely back home with their mother and their father has been arrested.

A'mario - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this little boy after he was abducted from his grandmother's home. He was later returned safely.

Cynthia - An Amber Alert was issued for Cynthia, after she went missing and was believed to be in danger. She has been found safely.

Dylan - Nine year old Dylan went out to lunch with his maternal grandparents and didn't come home. Authorities learned that the boy had been smuggled out of the country. His mother had to go to Ireland to fight for custody of her son. Finally, Irish authorities agreed to return the boy and he is now safely home with his mother.

Katy - Katy was only thirteen when she ran away from her Texas home with a twenty two year old man she had met online. Authorities tracked the pair across the United States, finally locating them in California. Katy was safely recovered and her abductor has been arrested.

Charlotte - Nearly two years after she was taken overseas, four year old Charlotte is back home on American soil, reunited with her father once again. The little girl has lived in France with her mother since March 2003, after the pair left for what was supposed to be a short vacation. French police attempted to take the child from her preschool in late 2004 so that she could be reunited with her father, but teachers fought back and managed to keep Charlotte hidden. Afterwards, a judge decided that the child should be in foster care for the next six months, while her parents battled it out in court. A judge in a higher court overturned the ruling two months later, declaring that Charlotte should immediately go home to America.

Ebony - An alert police officer solved a months long mystery when he checked up on the teenaged girl driving a car he'd just pulled over. The girl turned out to be Ebony, a 16 year old missing from a group home. Authorities had been particularly concerned about the teenager's disappearance because phone calls from Ebony after she vanished indicated that she was held against her will. She is safe now, though, and her disappearance is under investigation.

Samantha - A little girl missing for two years has been found safely in Mexico. Samantha's mother, who kidnapped her in 2002, was trying to find a way back into the US when authorities learned her whereabouts. She has been arrested. Samantha will be reunited with her father.

Ezekiel, Jesseniah, and Rhienna - These three siblings were abducted by their father from social services custody during a supervised visitation. They have been found safely and their father has been arrested.

Giovannie and Amnerys - The children were abducted by their noncustodial parents and were missing for about a month. Giovannie has been found safely. Amnerys was located deceased. UPDATE 01/05 - A recent story reveals that the children were placed into state care because Amnerys was being abused. Their parents concocted an elaborate scheme to abduct the children and managed to flee to Puerto Rico with them. There, days before Christmas, Amnerys was brutally beaten to death.

Ethan - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this little boy after he was allegedly abducted by his babysitter's husband. Ethan has been found safely.

Cage - An Amber Alert was issued for Cage after he was allegedly abducted by his father. He was found safely a few days later.

Jason - When several unknown persons snatched one-year-old Jason from his mother's arms, authorities suspected the baby's father was involved. Jason's father had just lost custody of him. An Amber Alert was issued for the little boy, who remained missing for days. Finally, Jason's father turned himself and the baby in. Jason has been safely recovered.

Chayil - One year old Chayil's mother thought her children would be safe when she left them with a teenaged babysitter while she went out for the evening. But when the children's mother returned, she found her five year old daughter home alone. The babysitter had packed up Chayil's clothing and belongings, then fled with the baby. Authorities issued an Amber Alert. Shortly thereafter, investigators learned that the babysitter had boarded a bus with the baby. Police pulled the bus over and recovered the baby safely.

Shelbie - Shortly after being questioned in the disappearance of his parents, Shelbie's father pulled a disappearing act himself. He, his young wife, and their nine-month-old daughter vanished. Before long, authorities found the bodies of Shelbie's paternal grandparents and publicly named the baby's father a suspect. An Amber Alert was issued for Shelbie, but was cancelled when police decided she wasn't directly at risk. Finally, police were able to locate and arrest Shelbie's parents. She was recovered safely.

Frederick - An Amber Alert was issued for four month old Frederick after he was allegedly abducted by his babysitter. Authorities were particularly concerned because Frederick had been born prematurely and required special formula, which the babysitter did not have with her. An alert police officer spotted the babysitter's car and was able to successfully recover the little baby.

Paul and Breanna - Days after these two young children were allegedly abducted at gunpoint from their foster home by their noncustodial parents, they have been safely recovered. Authorities have the children's mother and father in custody.

Shelby and Hannah - For the second time, two young abducted girls have been located safely. But this time, unlike the last time, Shelby and Hannah were immediately returned to their father. The sisters were abducted twice by their mother, who successfully took them for the second time during a supervised visit, mere hours before they were supposed to return to their dad. The abductor has been taken into custody.

Adam - Three days after he disappeared with a convicted sex offender, Adam has been safely recovered. Authorities received a tip, placing the boy and his alleged abductor at a store in Georgia. When police arrived, Adam ran towards them while his alleged abductor fled on foot. The alleged abductor is still at large, but Adam is safe.

Martin - An Amber Alert was issued for 11 year-old Martin. He has been located safely.

Alexander - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this autistic little boy after he was allegedly abducted by his noncustodial father. Alexander's father heard about the Amber Alert over the radio and decided to turn himself in. The child was safely returned.

Katlyn - Ten-year-old Katlyn left her home to run a quick errand, but never returned. Indiana authorities issued an Amber Alert after learning that the child was seen getting into an unknown man's car. Five days after she went missing, Katlyn was found murdered about fifteen miles from her home.

Christine - Nine-year-old Christine was found safe at a friend's house.

Michela and Donna - About two months after these sisters were allegedly abducted by their noncustodial mother, they were found safely.

Keneralyn - An Amber Alert was issued for fourteen year old Keneralyn after she was allegedly abducted by her mother's ex boyfriend. Days later, she was found safe and her alleged abductor was taken into custody. UPDATE (02/05): Authorities now suspect that Keneralyn was a willing participant in her disappearance. Charges have been filed against her.

Nicolas - In the days following Nicolas' mother allegedly abducted him in September 2004, authorities seemed close to locating him. After issuing an Amber Alert, investigators learned that Nicolas' mother was using an alias name, had purchased a new car, and had been seen at a local rest stop asking strangers to give her and the child a ride. Then the trail went cold for months. Nicolas was finally found safe in February of 2005, in Oregon. His mother was arrested.

David and Caleb - An Amber Alert was issued for these brothers after they were allegedly abducted by their noncustodial mother. They were found safely the next day.

Jayden - Texas authorities issued an Amber Alert for this seven-year-old boy after he and his pregnant mother vanished from their home. A large pool of blood was found inside their home and their vehicle was found in a nearby creek. About two days after the Alert was issued, a suspect was arrested. Shortly thereafter, police located the bodies of Jayden and his mother.

Jessica - A Texas Amber Alert for Jessica ended happily when someone saw the missing teenager and called the police. Jessica has been taken to the hospital for observation.

Sara and Robert - An Amber Alert was issued for these siblings after they disappeared with their mother. Authorities tracked the pair down when Sara called for help, after being left alone in a hotel room. She was found in the room and Robert was at a restaurant nearby. Both children are home safely.

Harmahn - After spending an afternoon with his sister, Harmahn left home to see some friends and disappeared. Authorities located his beloved vehicle, but Harmahn remained missing for a month. His body was found submerged in knee deep water in a local pond. Police are still investigating how Harmahn died and there is no suspect information at this time.

Katrina - In 1996, Katrina disappeared from a hospital where she was receiving treatment for a possible mental illness. Authorities discovered her skeletal remains in 2005. A cause of death has not yet been determined.

Brooke - An Amber Alert was issued for fourteen-year-old Brooke after she left home with an eighteen-year-old friend. Authorities believed the child went willingly, but worried because her companion had a "history" with fourteen-year-old girls, as one law enforcement officer explained. The Alert was issued after Brooke had been gone for sixteen hours. When the companion learned of the Amber Alert, he dropped Brooke off at another friend's home. She called the police from this home and was safely recovered.

Dharma - Nearly two months after she was allegedly abducted by her noncustodial mother, Dharma is back home with her family.

Jessica - The whole world was shocked in late February 2005, when little Jessica vanished from her bedroom during the night. For weeks, law enforcement and volunteers searched desperately for this missing child. About one month later, authorities announced that they had a person of interest in the case, a convicted sex offender who had been staying across the street from Jessica's house that fateful night. Within days he was arrested and, shortly thereafter, he confessed to Jessica's murder. Authorities found her body buried in that man's sister's backyard, just across the street from her home.

Faith and Jaquan - Faith and Jaquan were allegedly abducted by their mother's former boyfriend. Authorities issued an Amber Alert for these children, stating that the suspect had assaulted the children's mother and shot their grandfather multiple times. Later on that day, the suspect dropped Faith and Jaquan off at a residence. They were recovered safely. The suspect is now in police custody.

Rosa - On one seemingly ordinary morning in the summer of 2004, twelve-year-old Rosa disappeared without a trace. Authorities are not sure if Rosa vanished while walking to school or if something happened to her inside her residence. For months, no trace of Rosa could be found. Then, in the winter of 2005, Rosa's skeletal remains were located. The cause of her death has not been determined and so far authorities have announced no suspects.

Trenhanna - An Amber Alert was issued for little Trenhanna, after she was allegedly taken by her father. Authorities believed he might have used "controlled substances" before leaving with the child. He returned her safely home within hours.

Juan - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for little Juan, after he and his parents were reportedly kidnapped at gunpoint. They were located safely within a day and the supposed abduction is now believed to have been a hoax.

Justice - An Amber Alert was issued for four-year-old Justice, after she was apparently abducted by her noncustodial mother. She was found safely, thanks to tips from the public.

Iman - Infant Iman was running a fever and in need of medication when she disappeared with her father, so authorities issued an Amber Alert. For days, police seemed tantalizingly close to the child, but unable to recover her. Finally, investigators learned that the baby and her father had flown to Lebanon. Iman's mother is traveling to Lebanon now as well, to reunite with her daughter.

Sky - In 2002, Sky left with his mother to attend a birthday party and never came home. For nearly three years, Sky's family and police searched desperately for him. Then, in January 2005, they finally got some good news: Sky and his mother had been found in New Zealand. But before they could be returned to the United States, the mother and son went missing again. Months passed with no sign of young Sky. Finally, in April 2005, authorities received a good tip. Sky's mother was arrested when she tried to rent property in New Zealand; her son was taken into protective custody. Both will be returned to the United States. UPDATE (4/05): Sky was returned to the United States, along with his mother. His mother has been arrested and Sky was returned to his father's custody. Investigators say the reunion has gone well.

Kylin - Authorities believed that Kylin was taken by a nonfamily member. She has been located safely.

Ashleigh - Ashleigh was last seen leaving home with an older female relative. Due to the relative's history, authorities and the child's family were very concerned about her safety. Ultimately, the teenager was found safely in Missouri. Investigators believe Ashleigh traveled there willingly, but are still interested in questioning the relative.

Sarah - Although Sarah had run away several times before, investigators quickly realized that her April 2005 disappearance was something much more sinister. A convicted sex offender was seen at the child's home the night she went missing. He was taken into custody on an unrelated charge, but refused to provide any information. Days later, a body was found submerged in a creek near her home. Authorities have not yet confirmed that this is Sarah's body, but law enforcement told the media that "instinct" leads them to believe it is. UPDATE (4/05) Authorities have confirmed that Sarah's body was found.

Janet - An Amber Alert was issued for this Kentucky teenager. Authorities believed she had been abducted by five unknown males. She was found safely in Texas.

Jonathan and Heather - An Amber Alert was issued for these two children. They were found safely.

Margarite - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this teenager, fearing she'd been abducted by her brothers' adult friend. She was recovered safely and her alleged abductor is facing charges.

Hafiz - Hafiz was allegedly taken by his noncustodial grandmother. He was returned home several months later, after a family friend got involved.

Jacob - Although Jacob and his noncustodial mother vanished from Pennsylvania, the search soon spread far beyond the East Coast. Tips suggested the boy had been taken as far away as Idaho. Ultimately, authorities found the pair all the way across the country, when Jacob's mother turned herself in to Child Protective Services in California. They will be returned to Pennsylvania where Jacob's mother faces charges.

Salvador - On June 29, 2004, five year old Salvador was abducted in broad daylight from his family's residence in Mexico. The next day, the brazen kidnappers had contacted his family, demanding a large ransom payment. Authorities and family members attempted negotiation, but talks fell through when the kidnappers refused to put Salvador on the telephone or provide any evidence of the boy's well being. Several months later, police received a tip placing the child's abductors in North Carolina. Two men were arrested, but there was no sign of Salvador. In May 2005, the National Center for Missing Children announced that Salvador had been located deceased. Although authorities have not released any details about the boy's death, he has been classified as "murdered" on this website due to the circumstances of his disappearance.

Sierra and Samaya - These two young sisters were allegedly abducted by their noncustodial father. An Amber Alert was issued after their disappearance. They were located safely.

Zaya - An Amber Alert was issued for 3-month-old Zaya after she was abducted at knifepoint by a nonfamily member. Acting on an anonymous tip, authorities located the baby in the care of a former coworker of her paternal grandmother.

Justin - The last time Justin's mother was seen alive, police had responded to the family's residence to investigate a domestic violence situation. Hours after the authorities left, a family friend found the woman's body. She had been strangled and her husband, Justin's stepfather, quickly became the prime suspect. An Amber Alert was issued and police began a nationwide search for the toddler. He was found safe several days later. His stepfather is still at large.

Marie, Michael, Anael, and Mariel - These siblings were allegedly abducted from Canada by their noncustodial mother. She took them to Sweden, where they were discovered a few months later. Authorities escorted the family back to Canada and the children are safe.

Tamara - In May 2005, Tamara's mother was found on the side of a local highway. She had survived being stabbed and forced from a vehicle. Investigators believed that Tamara was still with her father, who was allegedly responsible for the attack, and issued an Amber Alert. Several days later, the little girl was turned in to the authorities. Her father evaded authorities for a few more days, but was ultimately arrested.

Laura and Jonathan - An Amber Alert was issued in 2003 for these California siblings, after they disappeared with their parents. Authorities believed that the children's mother and father were responsible for the death of their youngest child. The Amber Alert was not immediately successful and investigators suspected that the family had managed to leave the country. In 2005, the National Center for Missing Children announced that Laura and Jonathan had been recovered.

David - In July 2004, David walked a few feet away from his family's campsite at a California campground and disappeared without a trace. He was going to get something from the car, but never made it back. An extensive search turned up no sign of the child. In late May 2005, a child's skull was found at the campground, a few miles from where David had last been seen. Several days later, testing determined that these were David's remains. Authorities do not know yet how David died, but one theory is that he was killed by a mountain lion seen in the area around that time.

Celeste - Celeste went missing when she left her school bus. She has been found safely.

Katie - Last year, Katie was a healthy and happy blond preteen Texan. In early January, she was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease and started chemotherapy treatments. Doctors planned to follow these treatments with radiation therapy, which they feel are vital for Katie's survival. Katie's family opposes the radiation for religious reasons and sought multiple opinions. In May, Child Protective Services charged Katie's parents with medical neglect and attempted to take custody of the child, but she was not at home. An Amber Alert was issued when Katie was not returned promptly. Authorities have located the child and the matter will be settled in court.

Sean - Authorities issued an Amber Alert in May 2004, after young Sean was allegedly snatched by his noncustodial father in a reportedly violent attack. Police suspected that the child had been taken out of the country. In June 2005, Sean was located in Los Angeles, California, and returned to his mother.

Adriana - Illinois authorities issued an Amber Alert for Adriana, after she was taken by her father following a domestic dispute. The baby was found safe in Wisconsin and returned to her maternal family.

Trinity - One moment, Trinity was there, tagging along behind a relative at a family gathering. The next moment, the toddler was gone, having vanished seemingly without a trace. Police issued an Amber Alert after learning that a potentially suspicious individual had been seen nearby that day. Trinity's body was found the day after her disappearance; authorities now believe the little girl wandered away and fell into a nearby lake, where she drowned.

Chloe - Police in Australia began searching for young Chloe after she disappeared from her school in March 2005. Authorities quickly suspected that the child had been taken by her noncustodial mother. For almost three months, Chloe's father worried about his daughter and waited for news. Finally, in June 2005, Chloe was found safe and returned to her dad.

Unidentified Girl - When witnesses reported seeing a young girl climbing into a black van, Texas authorities were immediately concerned. Just a few weeks earlier, a teenager had reported that an individual driving a similar vehicle had tried to lure her inside. Fearing that an abduction had taken place, police issued an Amber Alert, even though they did not know the girl's identity. The Amber Alert was cancelled the next day, after no one reported a child missing.

Taylor - In 2002, one-year-old Taylor went on visitation with her father and didn't come home. For three years, her mother and authorities searched with seemingly little success. Finally, in 2005, the now four-year-old child and her father were located in New Zealand. Taylor will be returning to the United States to live with her mother.

Anibal, Daniel, and Jesstin - These three boys were playing outside when one of their mothers went to prepare dinner. When she returned, they were gone. Although reports suggested that the children had left voluntarily, a massive search was organized due to their ages. A few days after the boys disappeared, their bodies were found in the trunk of a nearby car. Authorities believe the children accidentally locked themselves in the vehicle and suffocated.

Diana - Twelve year old Diana disappeared from her home along with an adult neighbor. She was located several days later, in a different state.

Shasta - In May 2005, the bodies of an Idaho woman, her boyfriend, and her 13 year-old son were found inside their residence. They had been bludgeoned to death. Authorities soon learned that the murdered woman had two other children, a daughter named Shasta and a son named Dylan, who should have been at the house at the time of the attack. An Amber Alert was issued and a massive search was started, but the children seemed to have vanished into thin air. Then, on June 2, 2005, Shasta's alleged abductor brought her to a Denny's restaurant for a late night meal. The alert staff at the restaurant recognized the child and immediately notified authorities. Police responded to the tip and successfully rescued Shasta, taking her alleged abductor into custody. At this time, Shasta's brother, Dylan, has not been located and is feared dead.

Matal - When little Matal first went missing, searchers hoped he had simply gone out with his stepgrandmother, who had left the home only a short time earlier. But hours later, the stepgrandmother returned alone. Authorities and volunteers conducted a large scale search for the little boy. Days after the disappearance, Matal's stepgrandmother led police to his body. She has now been charged with his murder.

Erica - Toddler aged Erica first went missing when her teenaged babysitter failed to bring her home. Several days later, authorities located the babysitter but not the child. Investigators determined that the babysitter had left Erica with another woman and continued the search. Finally, police received a tip that the woman had Erica at a salon. When authorities arrived, the woman allegedly fled, leaving the baby behind. Erica was safely recovered and returned to her family.

Evelyn - As Evelyn's mother went to work one night in July, she paused to look at her young daughter, who had fallen asleep on the couch. She would never see Evelyn alive again. The next morning, Evelyn's mother found the front door open and her child missing. A massive search went on for days, seemingly with no trace of the little girl. Finally, searchers found Evelyn's body. No one has yet been charged with Evelyn's death.

Krista - Several days after Krista vanished with her adult cousin, authorities issued an Amber Alert. They feared that the teenager's disappearance may be involuntary, due to her companion's criminal history, according to news articles. Krista eventually made contact with police, convincing them that she had intentionally left home. The Amber Alert was cancelled. Krista has not returned home, but articles say she is communicating with her family and authorities. UPDATE: Krista has been found safe.

Dylan - An Amber Alert was issued in May 2005 for Dylan and his younger sister, Shasta. The children were discovered missing after a triple homicide occurred at their residence. Six weeks later, Shasta was located safe at a restaurant and her alleged abductor, a nonfamily member, was taken into custody. Shortly thereafter, authorities found Dylan's body.

Alexandria - After witnesses reported seeing five adults and one baby abducted violently, authorities issued an Amber Alert. The Alert was cancelled after investigators determined this to be false information. Some reports say Alexandria, the missing baby, was located safe. Other reports indicate no baby was ever missing at all.

Cinamon - Early news articles indicated that an Amber Alert had been issued for toddler aged Cinamon, after she was allegedly abducted by her mother's schizophrenic boyfriend, so she was featured on our Amber Alert page. Later reports stated that no such Alert had been issued. Cinamon was returned safely home to her mother.

Jennifer and Brian - One week after Jennifer and Brian's father moved out of their home, he returned to shoot their grandparents and a teenaged uncle, according to police. Authorities believe the children's father then fled to Mexico with them. He was arrested there several days later and the children were found safely. An Amber Alert was issued for this case.

Jolina - An Amber Alert was issued after Jolina, her mother, and a 16 year-old family friend were allegedly abducted. Jolina and her mother were found safely. The family friend, Emily, is still missing. No further details are available.

Megan - Megan was located safely.

Unknown Girl - An Amber Alert was issued for this unknown child after a witness saw her being pulled kicking and screaming into a vehicle. The Amber Alert was cancelled when no one reported a girl missing.

Lydia - Authorities issued an Amber Alert after this eight-year-old disappeared with a sex offender who had been staying at her house. She was found safe at a homeless shelter in Mexico several days later, thanks to missing child posters distributed in that country. Her alleged abductor is in custody.

Annemarie - When Annemarie didn't come home from an outing with friends, her family instantly knew something was terribly wrong. The discovery of the teenager's car, burned and pushed into a local creek, confirmed their fears. After days of frantic searching from the family, law enforcement, and volunteers, Annemarie's body was found. Several suspects have been arrested in connection with her murder.

Gabriel - Gabriel has been found safely.

Katlyn - After Katlyn went missing in early 2005, her mother took action. With the help of several agencies, she used posters and news articles to spread the word about her daughter's disappearance. Several months later, those efforts were rewarded. Katlyn has been found safe.

Jodie - Police issued an Amber Alert after Jodie's disappearance, fearing that the preteen had been lured away by a sex offender recently released from jail. The two had been in contact, unbeknownst to Jodie's family, and he went missing at the same time. Several other states issued Amber Alerts for Jodie also, after days passed without word of the young girl. Finally, Jodie was located safely, alone. The suspect was found later and taken into custody.

Jeremy - October 2002 marked the beginning of dramatic changes in little Jeremy's life. His parents divorced, putting the five year old at the center of a bitter custody fight. His father was accused of sexually abusing him and, at his mother's request, the matter went before a jury. After several intense investigations, Jeremy's father was cleared of all wrongdoing and granted full custody of his son. Immediately thereafter, Jeremy's mother and maternal grandmother fled with the little boy. Jeremy spent three years on the run in Mexico before a citizen recognized him and notified authorities. The little boy, now eight-years-old, was reunited with his father; his mother has been arrested. His maternal grandparents have already faced charges connected to this crime and spent a year in jail.

Mireya - An Amber Alert was issued for ten-year-old Mireya after she became separated from her family as they attempted to sneak illegally into the United States. Authorities feared that smugglers had taken the child captive. Shortly thereafter, the little girl was dropped off unharmed and reunited with her family.

Mark and Michael - These two boys were allegedly taken from their foster home by their mother and father, who were facing identity theft charges. After several months on the run, the family has been located and the boys safely recovered.

Devin - An Amber Alert was issued for ten year-old Devin, after he disappeared from his bedroom during the night. Police suspected that the child had been taken by his noncustodial mother. Several days later, Devin was found safe and his mother arrested.

Steven - Steven was listed as Lost, Injured, Missing with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He has been located safely.

Erin - Shortly after Erin disappeared from her home, authorities discovered that the teenager had communicated online with a sex offender. A massive search followed her disappearance; she was found safe a few days later.

Kori - Kori was abducted by her noncustodial mother. She has been located safely.

Joshua - After being abducted by his noncustodial mother, Joshua has been found safely.

Paris - Paris was taken by her noncustodial mother. She has been found safely.

Erik - According to his father's website, Erik was abducted by his noncustodial mother and her boyfriend. After several months of desperate searching, the little boy was found safely.

Isaac - An Amber Alert was issued for Isaac, after the boy and his mother were reportedly abducted by her exboyfriend. They were found safely shortly thereafter. Authorities now believe the abduction was a hoax, orchestrated by Isaac's mother so that her family would not know she was still involved with her supposed ex boyfriend.

Maxine - A massive search began for young Maxine after she disappeared with an adult sex offender. Several days later, she walked into a police station and turned herself in. She is unharmed. Her alleged companion remains missing.

Heather - For Heather, born with significant health problems, life had never been easy. Nonetheless, she defied doctors' predictions and thrived in the care of her grandmother. The family encountered plenty of setbacks, including two house fires and the grandmother's divorce. Then, in late 2004, as they traveled to see a relative, Heather and her grandmother suddenly disappeared. The grandmother placed a panicky phone call to her ex-husband, saying she and Heather had been in a car accident and were drowning. Authorities searched local bodies of water but were unable to find any sign of the missing woman and child. Finally, months after the disappearance, investigators working an unrelated case came across the grandmother's vehicle, submerged at the bottom of a lake. The bodies of Heather and her grandmother were found inside the vehicle. Authorities believe their deaths were accidental; the grandmother probably drove accidentally into the water when road signs were obscured by fog.

Sophia - An Amber Alert was issued for Sophia after she and her babysitter did not come back after an outing. The child was returned home shortly thereafter. The babysitter has been arrested and faces charges.

Teketria - Authorities issued an Amber Alert for this preteen, after she vanished from her bed during the night. For days, massive searching uncovered no trace of the young girl. Then, days after her disappearance, Teketria's body was found in a river near her home. Shortly before this discovery, Teketria's stepfather was arrested on unrelated charges. He has since reportedly confessed to murdering someone else on that property years ago and is apparently considered a suspect in Teketria's murder.

Liliana - Liliana became separated from her family in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She has been found safely.

Iesha - According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Iesha ran away from home. She has been found safely.

Alejandra- Ten-year old Alejandra disappeared while walking to her bus stop. After days of searching, authorities found the child's body. A local man and teenager are accused of assaulting and killing Alejandra. The man is also suspected of murdering his wife and their three children.

Daniel - Little Daniel's mother came to the United States from Russia in hopes of creating a better life for herself and her son. Instead, she faced a divorce, a bitter custody battle, and the disappearance of her own child. Authorities say her ex-husband, who is not biologically related to Daniel, took the child for a visitation and failed to return him. After months of searching, police located the child and his alleged abductor in Cancun, Mexico. The suspected abductor has been arrested and Daniel is back with his mother.

Kodie - An Amber Alert was issued for this child after she was seen climbing into a car with three unknown women. Kodie was found safely later that day, with her mother.

Sabrae - Sabrae was at the center of a bitter custody battle in 2003 when she and her mother disappeared. Authorities later found Sabrae's mother several states away, but the child was not with her. She spent several months in jail, refusing to reveal her daughter's whereabouts. In 2005, tips led police to the little girl. Sabrae was unharmed.

Rahsann - An Amber Alert was issued for Rahsann after her father left with her, having allegedly shot and killed her mother. Shortly thereafter, Rahsann's uncle brought her safely to the police station. Her father has been apprehended and charged.

Ahmad - When Ahmad was first reported missing, authorities feared he had been taken by a stranger. His adoptive mother claimed the toddler vanished from the backseat of her car while she was getting a shopping car from only a few feet away. Ultimately, Ahmad's adoptive mother changed her story and admitted she'd killed the little boy. His body was found shortly thereafter.

Ricky - In July 2005, Ricky's adoptive parents reported that the 7 year-old boy had run away from home after getting scolded. For months, volunteers and authorities searched tirelessly for the child. Finally, in January 2006, Ricky's adoptive parents were arrested and charged with his murder. Ricky's body was found shortly thereafter. His adoptive mother and father remain in jail, accusing each other of comitting the murder.

Christy & Abby - These two girls were allegedly abducted by their noncustodial mother in 1999, when she never returned them after a visitation. The sisters' older brother was abandoned in another state during the abduction. For six years, Christy and Abby's father searched desperately for his daughters. Nearly found in Oregon in 2000, the children and their mother were finally found during a traffic stop in North Carolina in 2006. The girls are now back with their father and their mother is in jail awaiting trial.

Chelsea - When Chelsea disappeared in 2003, authorities believed she was a runaway. She was found in Tijuana, Mexico, in 2006. Authorities said the teenager had had a "hard life" while missing.

Mariana - In February 2003, the body of a little boy, later identified as 4 year-old Luis, was found in a park in Tennessee. Investigators quickly suspected Luis' mother and stepfather had killed him, but the two adults were nowhere to be found. Worse yet, they'd disappeared with Luis' siblings, his sister Mariana and their infant brother. An Amber Alert was issued, but the surviving children's whereabouts wouldn't be known until February 2006.

Cole - Cole was allegedly abducted by his noncustodial mother. He has been found safely.

Sebastyan & Gabryell - These siblings left home with their parents and grandparents for what was supposed to be an overnight trip. When the family didn't return, relatives and authorities started a massive search. After two weeks without success, the search was suspended. Then, Sebastyan and Gabryell's parents wandered out of a wooded area to safety and told rescuers where to find the remaining members of their family. Stranded due to snow on a backroad in Oregon, the group waited for help until they learned from television that the search had been suspended. The parents then ventured out into the inhospitable weather and were able to reach safety. There was no way to drive to the family's location because of the snow, but rescuers managed to reach Sebastyan, Gabryell, and their grandparents. The family is now home safe.

Anthony - An Amber Alert was issued for Anthony, after the 5 year-old disappeared while bike riding .Authorities had received reports earlier that day about an unknown man trying to lure children into his car. The search continued overnight without success. Finally, Anthony was found the next morning, drowned in a nearby pond. At this time, police do not believe the child was abducted. It is believed Anthony died due to accidental drowning.

Quadrevion & Purvis - These two boys were last seen playing basketball near their homes. One month later, their bodies were found in a local pond. Authorities believe the boys drowned accidentally.

Wade - Wade left a party in his vehicle, but never made it home. Seventeen days later, police located his body and his car in a nearby lake. It is believed that this child had, after consuming alcohol, become disoriented and accidentally drove into the water.

Jamie - An Amber Alert was issued for Jamie, after she left to ride her bicycle and never came home. Her body was later found inside the home of a former neighbor. The neighbor confessed to brutally murdering this child.

Lorne - In 2001, Lorne left home on foot, intending to take a short walk and then return. The schizophrenic man never made it back. In 2006, his body was found in the area.

Skyland - An Amber Alert was issued for Skyland, after the little girl was allegedly abducted from her caretaker's home by her 17 year-old foster brother. Social workers had planned to remove the child from the home that day, fearing that she was being abused. The child was found safe one day later.

Amber - Twelve year-old Amber went missing in November 2005. Although she seemed to be officially classified as a runaway, authorites and missing childrens organizations worked tirelessly to find her. In February 2006, Amber's backpack was found in a garbage can near her home. On May 11, 2006, Amber's body was located. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

Anthony - According to the authorities, Anthony was abducted by his father's girlfriend. An Amber Alert was issued for this child. He has been found safely.

Priscilla- An Amber Alert was issued for this newborn baby, after she was allegedly abducted from her home. Reports indicate that a woman pretended to be a nurse to gain the baby's mother's trust, then absconded with the child. Police found the newborn abandoned in a 104 degree carport. The child was taken to the hospital and is said to be doing well.

Brittany - Brittany was listed with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as Lost, Injured, or Sick. She has been found safely.

Collin and Monte - These brothers were allegedly abducted by their father. Several hours after an Amber Alert was issued, authorities located the boys and their father at a trailer park. Reports state that the father ran from a residence with both children and jumped into a nearby lake. Police officers pulled Monte from the water; Monte had stab wounds to his chest and neck and is undergoing surgery. Collin's body was found by a dive team. The children's father has been taken into custody.
